Mardi Gras Nola 2022

Mardi Gras 2023

It’s been about a year since New Orleans hosted it’s first Post Pandemic Mardi Gras. Last year was a wild successes. The Parades were back in full swing and it was a super spreader event. We headed out for a few parades and I would say less than one person in hundred was masked up. 2023 should be a full scale back to normal New Orleans Mardi Gras experience.

12 Night Jan 6th Phunny Phorty Phellows

Always fun to watch leave the station. There are a few more 12 night parades these days, but we have not had a chance to check them out. We were luck enough to be invited on the on the Street Car to film on year. The only parade that I have ever been a part of.

Weekend 1 Saturday Feb 4 6:30

Krew de Vew cut the parade short in 2023 and one of their key patrons is skipped the parade. Should be a in full swing in 2023.

Weekend 2 Friday Feb 10 – Sunday Feb 20

The second weekend is always a good time to bring in the youngsters and family if they want some Mardi Gras without the huge drunken crowds.

Rex rolls at 10:00 followed by Elks and Crescent City.

Then, for those of you that haven’t been to the old Big Easy Mardi Gras, the Trucks start to roll, and roll, and roll………. Best to head to the Quarter to close the deal.
